Business and Art Networking
In a blend of entrepreneurial expertise and creative ingenuity, the recent Dallas Socialite event, held on the evening of July 22nd, 2023, made a significant impact on the Texan social scene. One thing that truly distinguished this gathering was the art exhibition. A carefully curated showcase led by one of the event’s hosts, Mike Anthony Vallone, who also happens to be the owner of the media agency Goodson Gallery. With a deep appreciation for art, Mike thoughtfully handpicked and presented the works of three talented Dallas artists.
The Art Exhibit
The distinctiveness of each artist’s work, resulted in an engaging and visually stimulating experience for all attendees. From vibrant three-dimensional impasto acrylic paintings that celebrated Texan landscapes and European adventures to captivating psychedelic oil portraiture and thought-provoking, philosophy-infused oil canvases.
The Painters
Christie Joy
Christie Joy from Tyler, Texas was one of the featured artists of the evening, unveiling a breathtaking series of three-dimensional impasto acrylic paintings. Inspired by the rolling Texan landscapes and her European adventures, her creations were a vibrant burst of color and texture.
Cameron Flores
The mesmerizing and psychedelic portraiture oil paintings by Cameron Flores took attendees on a mind-bending journey through photo-surrealism. Her bold use of colors and intricate details left an indelible impression on the audience.
Robert C. Smith
Profound oil paintings, steeped in philosophy and hidden meanings, provided me a thought-provoking counterpoint to the other artists’ offerings. His pieces offered a glimpse into a deeply personal world, where intricate symbolism and meticulous brushwork converged to create artistry that begged contemplation. Mike’s curation of the works shown that night were a spotlight on the depth and complexity of Smith’s creations.
The Live Music
Andrew Getman
Adding a harmonious touch to the evening was the remarkable solo jazz guitarist Andrew Getman. With a captivating 2.5-hour performance, Andrew kept the crowd entertained, engaged, and filled with a sense of delight. Hailing from Dallas and set to graduate from University of North Texas. Getman’s music style exudes class, sophistication, and a soothing ambiance, setting the perfect tone for conversations and networking.
